Tom Till Tours in Moab is your source for the best scenic photography tours in the Moab, UT area. We provide access to well known sites as well as trips to little known gems of canyon country. We include seasonal tours to take advantage of how the landscape changes throughout the year. Take pictures of beautiful wildflowers in the Spring, cloud-filled canyons in the Winter, gorgeous Fall color,  and go on a night tour for breathtaking images of the Milky Way and Star Trails with red rock arches, spires and hoodoos.

Join Tom Till for a personalized photo experience in the spectacular Canyon Country surrounding Moab. We offer hands-on instruction in the field and tailor your experience to teach the techniques you want to learn in locations that you dream of.

Guests do not need a reservation for Arches National Park when accompanied by our guides. However, guests are responsible for their entry fee for each state or national park visited during the tour.

Private Custom Tours

We offer private tours for small groups or individuals with no more than 4 per guide. We request your input so we can provide the type of photo experience you are looking for. Let us know ahead of time your physical abilities, any specific preferences you may have for locations or subjects and any techniques you would like to learn and we'll take you to the locations that best suit you.

Full Day Tours

Sunrise and Sunset Sessions
totaling 8-9 hours

This tour includes both sunrise and sunset sessions. You will have a mid-day break back in Moab, during which you can find lunch, shop, or take a nap before we pick you up for sunset.

$725 for first person
$525 for each additional photographer (maximum of 4)
$275 Accompanying non-photographers

Half Day Tours

Sunrise or Sunset Session
totaling 4-4.5 hours

Sunrise
We meet you an hour or more before sunrise to ensure we arrive at our destination in plenty of time to set up for sunrise. After sunrise, we'll take you to more locations while the morning light is good.

Sunset
We meet you 2-3 hours before sunset, stopping to shoot several places along the way to our sunset location. We will usually return to Moab about an hour after sunset. Alternatively, you may opt to start later and stay out for night photos. On sunset tours, we recommend that you bring snacks or eat your evening meal before we pick you up.

$400 for first person

Night Tours

Sunset/Night
Totaling 4-4.5 hours

Capture the Milky Way, Star Trails or both with spectacular red rock arches, spires and hoodoos under some of the darkest skies anywhere. We will teach you the techniques to successfully use your equipment to its fullest potential.

$400 for first photographer
$300 for each additional photographer
$150 Accompanying non-photographers (maximum of 4 passengers)

$100 Additional Flat Fee for middle-of-the-night Milky Way tours in March, April & May.

Client cancellations must be in writing, and payments that were already made can be applied to a future tour date. Refunds are not offered, as we likely had to turn other clients away. In the event that Tom Till Tours cancels the tour, refunds are available. Please keep in mind that we do not cancel for bad weather. Bad weather makes good photos! We encourage our clients to purchase travel insurance to guard against unforeseen events causing a cancellation.

Sorry, no pets on tours. Some locations we shoot do not allow dogs and/or contain hazards for dogs. Due to the temperature swings and intense sun, we cannot leave dogs in a vehicle. Please check out the many sitter or day boarding options in Moab!
